Must-See Tampere

Sarkanniemi Amusement Park: It’s got one of the coolest atmospheres in town and there are great views of the city to boot. As long as you’re not afraid of pre-war roller coaster rides you should make a trip, for sure.
The Lenin Museum: It’s got its fair share of controversy surrounding it but for good reason – it’s a fascinating museum in its own right but if you’re into history you can’t miss the opportunity to brush up on your communist ruler trivia. There are great exhibits to be had here but it’s not for kids.
Pispala: It’s one of the most quaint districts of town and it’s imminently walkable – that’s why we recommend Pispala. There are cottages and parks and you’ll really get a feel for what life is like in Tamperego here for a mid-day stroll or a coffee.
